Amma4africa volunteers threatened by floods
Exceptionally heavy rain showers are ravaging large parts of East Africa
As water accumulates everywhere, malaria increases, and because drinking water wells become contaminated, there is also a risk of a cholera outbreak.
Many volunteers have had to leave their homes or have seen their crops washed away from the land.
Our teams help them where they can. ARHF has already allocated a budget so that volunteers staying in emergency shelter are provided with mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets, and food.
But much more is needed to rebuild their livelihoods once the water recedes.
After COVID, our people are once again facing exceptional circumstances, and we must once again ask for your support.
Please give generously to those who are doing such amazing work in service of their population.
Warm regards,
The amma4africa teams in Kenya, Uganda, DR Congo, and Malawi
